We offer on farm sales of cheese on a limited basis. Our reasoning is that we are first and foremost a small family farm with help from a limited number of staff. The nature of farming is that farmers work long hours with little down time. Jobs are never ending and there is always something to do. Stopping what we are doing to give a visitor a tour cuts into precious work time and even at the peak of summer, days are just too short.
Because of this, we offer sales only on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2 pm to 6 pm, May through October. If you come by the farm during these hours to purchase cheese, someone will be available to help you with your purchase. No tours of the dairy will be offered during these hours but you would be welcome to peek in to see what's happening in the dairy. Because of our working livestock guardian dogs and for biosecurity reasons, no one outside the farm is allowed in the pasture or in the barn with the goats. This is more for their protection than anything else. Our goats and their health are very important to us!
